Peter Gorham lives in Galesburg, Illinois, a verdant place of spacious farms, awesome railroads and breathtaking Victorian homes. Galesburg was founded in 1837 by George Washington Gale, a Presbyterian minister from New York, who also established Knox College here, now one of the finest small liberal arts colleges in the nation. Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Carl Sandburg was born in Galesburg in addition to various other luminaries. Many fine writers and artists live here now.

All My Voices is Peter Gorham’s sixth book. He published his first book,  Blainie’s Carpet Barn,  at age sixty-seven.
